Program Note

Lisa raises her young daughter by herself after divorce. She provides her house to a Somali refugee family as temporary shelter. Even though they can’t communicate at all, she takes good care of the family. However, a small, trivial action may mislead into serious conflicts between the two families who are different in terms of language, culture and conditions. The film shows the result that some fear and distrust on others cause in the most private place of home. This is a metaphor for the immediate issue of refugee.
