Bori’s parents and brother are hearing-impaired. This 11-year old girl is the only one who can hear and speak with the family. But Bori wants to “lose sound” and pretends like she can’t hear anything. Films about people with disabilities tend to be focused on the way the society perceives them. But Bori offers a different perspective. This film is centered around a family whose members happen to have disabilities, and in which Bori matures. Why am I different from other family members? This simple question that Bori asks is the question that ultimately asks the borderline between the disabled and the non-disabled.
