Program Note

8 years after the Oscar-winning Inside Job(2010), Director Charles Ferguson presents a semi-documentary film Watergate based on 3,400 hours of audio tapes, archival footage and declassified documents. In the creatively re-structured story, actors perform with the real voices recorded on audio tapes. As the original title of “Watergate or how we learned to stop an out of control president”, the film takes the audience to the very center of the scandal through multiple resources, dynamic composition, and vivid testimonies.
